The history of Gokul dates back to the time when a group of like minded individuals from Udupi, a well-known for its South Indian recipes, took upon themselves to provide a place for the best possible cuisine. The idea was to give a place to people which would be home away from home. After giving a taste of what good food is to the people of interior Karnataka, they moved on to the capital city of Karnataka. Since its inception in 1994 from a single place, it has grown to have outlets at Basavanagudi, Rajajinagar, Shivajinagar and shortly have its one more outlet at Peenya. Gokul looks forward to serve its customer through a chain of restaurants in Bangalore. The very desire to serve delicious and healthy food is inspired by the tradition of commitment to quality food that resides in our rich Udupi restaurant culture.
